Supreme Court Rules Unanimously for Inverse Condemnation Plaintiffs

The California Supreme Court has ruled unanimously in favor of Martin’s clients, who sued public transportation agencies over freeway sound barriers that deflected noise, vibrations, dust, and nighttime glare onto their properties. The Court concluded that the trial court had erred by dismissing the case using a procedural statute applicable only to eminent domain proceedings.
